TROJAN SIGN IFFB PRO FOR SPONSORSHIP DEAL!!!

In partnership with www.MuscleTalk.co.uk, Trojan Nutrition from Bristol have signed a sponsorship agreement with new IFBB Pro Shaun ‘The One’ Joseph-Tavernier!

In 2008 and 2009 Shaun won the light-heavyweight class at the UKBFF Finals, and shortly afterwards went onto compete in the Amateur Arnold Classic Show in 2010 where he was awarded his IFBB Pro Card. The top amateur competitors from around the world and USA competed in the Arnold Amateur IFBB International Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure and Bikini Championships at Veterans Memorial Auditorium and the Greater Columbus Convention Center March 4-6 as a part of the Arnold Sports Festival.

They had athletes from over 40 different countries competing this year making this one of the biggest international events of its kind” said Bob Lorimer, co-produer of the Arnold Amatuer IFBB International Bodybuidling, Fitness, Figure and Bikin Championships. “We are fortunate to collaborate with such wonderful partners like Rafael Santonja, president of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Jim Manion, president of the Nation Physique Committee who help us bring together so many talented competitors."

Shaun is backing off competing for the next few monthhs, as he looks to put even more size on ready to take the Under 202 Class at the Mr Olympia 2011!



MuscleTalk Co-Owner James Collier will act as manager for Shaun on the competition side of things, and Shaun will also be having an active role on the MuscleTalk forums. Shaun will be running a Journal and a TROG for his fans to follow, you can check his progress and get the chance to ask him questions.
He will also be updating us on the supplements he’s using.

Shaun is one of the most promising pro names in the UK bodybuilding scene at the moment and both Trojan Nutrition and MuscleTalk.co.uk are delighted to have him on board!

TROJAN TO SPONSOR CHARITY BOXING EVENT....

Trojan have teamed up with Diabetes UK to Sponsor a Charity boxing match.

Following on from the success of the charity bout held in July 2009 between John Alexander & Aaron Lyall, there will now be another event.

The event will consist of 10 of the finest mortgage advisers to grace the office of London & Country Mortgages. The event will hold 5 fights in total and all monies raised from ticket sales will go towards Diabetes UK.

Trojan's Past Honours....

Trojan Nutrition and Storage King proudly supported some local Bristol lads and ladies that took part in the NABBA Mr West Britain competition that took place at the Corn Exchange, Exeter on 26 April 2009 last year.

Over the past 2-3 years body building has become extremely popular. Many boys were competing for the first time including Dan Barry, Steve Cole and Dan Hall.

Previous winners from Bristol are Mike Croot – Mr Novice West Britain 2007. Mike Rubino – Mr 1st Timer West Britain 2008. Brad Burrows – Mr West Britain 2008 and Stuart Caswell (retired) Mr South East/ London Champs 2008. All these lads have been helped by Trojan Fitness Products and get regular advice on nutrition products from owner Mike who has himself competed in the past.

Trojan sponsor several local bodybuilders, many of whom have gone on to become personal trainers, helping to create future champions.

This year we are planning to hold a show in Bristol, in June. The last show held in Bristol was many years ago, we are looking to encourage as many new entries as possible and will be working with local gyms to generate interest.

Guest to Guest Pose!!

Trojan's Dave Guest is to guest pose at this years NABBA West Britain in April.

Just 12 months after his debut on a bodybuilding stage, he has taken the amateur bodybuilding ranks by storm.

Dave began his journey by taking the overall at the NABBA West Britain in 2009, followed shortly by a 4th place finish at the Pro Am a couple of weeks after which was an outstanding achievement. Dave continued by placing 2nd in his class at the NABBA Britain, and then an incredible 3rd at the NABBA Universe!!

And if this wasn't enough, he then won the Overall at the NABBA England to top off a truly remarkable first season of competing.

Dave will be guest posing at the West this year as he preps for the NABBA Britain, where he will try and take the title from Dave Titterton.
